"Digital 2.0" is an online lecture series about technological inventions for our digitalized future offerde by the University of Luxembourg Omniversité, the DESCOM department and GoldenMe. The aim of these multilingual online lectures is to let scientists show and explain different topics they are currently researching on.
The lectures are multilingual, free of charge and designed for non-experts!
About the lecturer:
Georgios Bouchagiar is a doctoral researcher in criminal law and technology at the University of Luxembourg and the Free University of Brussels. His research focuses on algorithmic implementations in sentencing (US/EU).

What is Artificial Intelligence (AI)? What is punishment in the criminal justice system? And how can AI improve punishment-related decision-making? Georgios will discuss technological implementations in sentencing, their promises and their risks.
